Description:

Research shows that parents who have visitation orders or have their visitation problems addressed, see their children more regularly and do a better job of paying child support.   But there are different ways to integrate parenting time with child support procedures.  Texas and Oregon take two different approaches to establishing parenting time. One relies on standard orders and the other uses interactive software to generate customized orders. Come hear about the evolution of parenting time in the child support program and how Texas and Oregon developed their respective approaches, how they work, how they address safety, and how they have met challenges along the way.
